Cadran Donates to Tour for Life and Bocht 18
This year, Cadran continues its tradition of supporting charitable initiatives. Our employees opted to exchange their holiday gift packages for donations to causes close to their hearts. The management team supplemented these donations, resulting in a generous contribution. This year, we proudly support two remarkable organizations:
Tour for life
Tour for Life is a cycling event where participants ride an average of 170 kilometers per day over eight days, from Italy to the Netherlands. Cadran supports the four cyclists of Team Kick Cancers Ass, who are raising funds for the Daniël den Hoed Foundation. This foundation channels its proceeds toward cancer research conducted at the Erasmus MC Cancer Institute.
Bocht 18
Bocht 18 is a handbike club based in Nijmegen, founded by passionate athletes, including former patients of the St. Maartenskliniek rehabilitation center. Handbiking involves a specially designed bicycle powered by the arms, making it ideal for individuals with motor disabilities.
The club was formed after members participated in the HandbikeBattle, a challenging race on the Kaunertal Glacier Road in Austria. Bocht 18 promotes handbiking at all levels and provides athletes with a supportive environment to practice this demanding sport.
Cadran wishes both initiatives great success in the coming year. We are proud to support these causes and hope our contribution helps them make a meaningful impact!
