Arantys Release 3.2: Intercompany transactions and contract forecasting

19 October 2018
Cadran introduces the latest version of the Commodity Trading module for Oracle JD Edwards: Arantys
This release includes key enhancements and new features designed to help companies in commodity trading increase profitability, manage logistics, and support production activities.
“Based on feedback from our clients, we developed a clear roadmap for this new version,” says Ed Pieters, CEO of Cadran Consultancy. “The focus is on comprehensive intercompany transactions and intelligent pricing functionality. With this solution, we provide commodity traders with the tools they need to thrive in a competitive, international market.”
Pieters emphasizes that Arantys is fully integrated with JD Edwards ERP, allowing all employees to work within a single system. This ensures seamless collaboration across various business processes.
The latest version 3.2 includes:
Intercompany transactions
Many companies in the commodity trading industry operate across multiple locations, frequently engaging in intercompany trade. Arantys automates and synchronizes these transactions, ensuring accurate records and easy management.
Lab results to lots and batches
The new Item Specification Validation feature links laboratory results to lots and batches, enabling users to compare actual values with contractually agreed specifications.
Price fixation based on market information
Arantys automates contract pricing based on real-time market data. Additionally, previously established prices can be recalculated to reflect market changes.
Contract Forecasting and Budgeting
This feature allows users to store monthly forecasts and budgets, then compare them to actual figures, enhancing contract planning and management.
Transport Cost Module
The new transport cost module enables users to save rates and link them to routes and transport types. This streamlines transport planning while minimizing errors.
