Solution Architect JD Edwards

As a JD Edwards Solution Architect, you translate our customers’ needs and ambitions into practical, future-proof ERP solutions. You are the linking pin between the business, IT and our JD Edwards team.

Your responsibilities

• Translating customer requirements into concrete JD Edwards solutions and architectures
• Advising customers on the alignment between business processes and the application landscape
• Supporting the sales organization with demos, presentations, solution design and proposals
• Participating in customer projects and safeguarding the functional and technical consistency within JD Edwards
• Steering, together with the delivery manager, the development and performance of the JD Edwards team
• Coaching consultants within the JD Edwards team
• Initiating and implementing improvements in processes and ways of working within the team
• Setting up and executing programs to strengthen competencies (for example consultancy and presentation skills), in collaboration with HR
• Providing insight into and discussing performance based on KPIs set by the Management Team

• At least 7 years of experience with ERP systems, including a minimum of 3 years with Oracle JD Edwards
• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Broad knowledge of ERP and IT and preferably experience in wholesale and manufacturing
• The ability to oversee the end-to-end relationship between business processes and the application landscape and to provide strategic advice on that basis
• Intrinsic motivation to work with the JD Edwards team on strong solutions, high service quality and satisfied customers
• An entrepreneurial self-starter mindset, actively following developments in the software and ERP domain
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders at different levels (board, management, key users, IT and vendors)
• You share our vision on Competence, Autonomy and Connectedness and enjoy sparring with management about initiatives to further strengthen the JD Edwards team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
• Availability of at least 4 days per week and a preference for a mix of working at the office and from home
