Purposes and legal bases for processing personal data

Cadran processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• To process your payment.
• To send our newsletter.
• To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to provide our services.
• To inform you about changes to our services and products.
• To deliver goods and services to you.
• Cadran analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and tailor our offer of products and services to your preferences.
• Cadran also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so.
• Cadran processes personal data to comply with employment agreements.

Automated decision-making

Cadran does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that may have consequences for individuals. This concerns decisions made by computer programs or systems without human intervention (for example, an employee of Cadran).

Retention period

Cadran does not retain your data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which your data was obtained and is further processed, unless the law requires us to retain data for a longer period. For example, every business is legally required to keep its administration for seven years (tax retention obligation). The retention period applied by Cadran may differ per purpose and also depends on the nature of the data. After the retention period has expired, your personal data will in principle be deleted or anonymised in such a way that it can no longer be used and is no longer accessible. We use anonymised data after the retention period only for historical or statistical purposes.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Cadran shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Cadran remains responsible for these processing activities.

Cadran uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data portability of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing of your personal data, to info@cadran.nl.

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), the passport number and the Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, but in any event within four weeks, to your request.

How we secure personal data

Cadran takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
