Cadran Consultancy adds Oracle NetSuite to its ERP portfolio

As of February 2017, Oracle NetSuite ERP will be part of Cadran Consultancy’s range of products, which will enable it to provide every wholesaler and manufacturing company in the Benelux with exactly the ERP solution they need; cloud or on-premise, for small or large number of users, for single or multi-entity use, for national or international companies.

According to Ed Pieters, CEO of Cadran, this expansion of the company’s ERP solutions is not just a logical step but also a strategic one. ‘For almost 20 years, we’ve been specialising in ERP systems for wholesalers and manufacturing companies. Our knowledge of their business processes in combination with ERP, is also requested by smaller companies. Before we couldn’t serve those, now we can. The solutions that we supply and support are Oracle JD Edwards and Oracle Cloud. When it was announced that Oracle was planning to acquire NetSuite, we immediately registered for a partnership with NetSuite with our International Joint Venture, Redfaire International, so that we could supply and implement NetSuite together with our international partners in 16 European countries’.

Cloud from the start

Marcel van Es, Sales Manager at Cadran, continues: ‘We travelled to London with a team of specialists and investigated and examined NetSuite in depth. We concluded that it’s a well thought-out ERP system that was developed as a fully-fledged cloud solution right from the start. NetSuite is technically superior to its rivals, as proven by the fact that, despite customisation, it can keep up with all the release updates received by cloud users.

Scalable

‘We strategically added NetSuite to our portfolio because we saw a gap in the market for cloud ERP systems for small to medium-sized wholesalers and manufacturing companies’, Ed Pieters explains. ‘I’m referring to companies with between 20 and 200 users. These organisations often have multiple systems linked to each other or running separately, so they want to switch to an integrated ERP system. And if these companies are internationally oriented, are growing and are working with several entities, NetSuite is a particularly suitable – and scalable – solution.’

Rich functionality for wholesalers, retailers and manufacturing companies

NetSuite – which has been up and running since 1998 – is rich in functionality. It offers an extended range of modules. For example, the integrated e-commerce, webshop and POS module helps wholesalers and retailers with their omnichannel business. Needless to say, these modules are fully integrated with all other ERP modules such as Warehouse & Fulfilment. NetSuite also provides specific functionality for manufacturing companies, including Production Management, Planning & Scheduling, Product Data Management and Quality Management, but also MES integration. The new Advanced Manufacturing module supports for both discrete and (semi) process manufacturing.

Will Lowe, Channel Recruitment Manager at Oracle NetSuite, is delighted to have Cadran as a new partner: ‘When selecting a new partner, we primarily base our choice on the prospective partner’s ERP experience in their market. With Cadran, we’ve nothing to worry about on that score; in 2016, Cadran was once again selected as Oracle Industry Partner of the Year thanks to its success as an ERP specialist for wholesalers and manufacturing companies. Added to that, together with all the other Redfaire International partners Cadran can provide our international customers with outstanding implementations and support’.
