Oracle announced on 25 September 2023 that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Next Technik, provider of the leading field service management solution NextService. This strategic acquisition underlines Oracle’s strong commitment to expanding its field service capabilities and enriching its NetSuite ERP suite with integrated field service functionality.

Cadran has guided successful NetSuite ERP implementations at companies with field service operations for many years. As the first Next Service Solution Provider in Europe, Cadran is known for its expertise of all processes related to field service such as customer engagement, work order management, planning & dispatch, work orders, analysis and reporting.

A seamless and optimised field service experience

Oracle’s acquisition of Next Technik has significant benefits for the NetSuite community. Previously, field service management was delivered separately from NetSuite as a third-party solution. Now, with Oracle managing this functionality internally and integrating it with the core NetSuite, customers will benefit from a seamless and optimised field service experience.

A key benefit of this acquisition is access to Oracle’s extensive resources for the development of new field service functionalities. Where Next Technik had limited ability to expand NextService’s product roadmap, Oracle has the resources and expertise to respond quickly to customer needs and develop new features.
